    >>Circa 1940, then US Vice President Henry Wallace made his "Common Man Speech" in which he directly states that Mankind is on the verge of being able to eradicate hunger Worldwide. And Wallace was in a position to know because for the previous 8 years he had been US Agriculture Secty, during which time this Agricultural Scientist revolutionized American Farming. Yet, 80 years later, the World is facing Famine. WHY ???
    >>George Orwell in "1984" (1948) provides the answer. He said that by the end of WW2 the World Elites realized much the same thing, that Science and Technology had developed to such a point that not only could World Hunger be eradicated but that a true Worker's Paradise was possible, where ALL people on Earth could have a comfortable lifestyle while needing to work only a few hours per week. But the Elites also realized that such a naturally evolving Worker's Paradise would destroy the World Status Hierarchy, and would put them on the same Social Plane with every other person on Earth. To avoid this, and to stay in power, the Elites constructed an artificial World Order where there was constant war just to keep the Lower Social Classes under their control.
    >>The US National Security Act of 1948 accomplished much toward that end, creating a virtual Worldwide Secret Government headed by the CIA whose aim was to cause Revolution and War constantly around the World, and SO Here the World sits in 2022 at the brink of Famine, instead of being Well Fed.

"Workers of the World, UNITE !!!"
… Karl Marx, "The Communist Manifesto", 1848.

So true! How did so many people become leaders of countries when they have next to zero wisdom on how economies work? Better leadership is much needed world wide. I hope that we can soon have another election here in Canada. We somehow elected (and re-elected) a drama teacher to run our country. No joke!

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

How much lower do you want corporate taxes to be? The effective tax rate is much lower than what companies should be paying. Money reserves of corporations are at an all-time high, profit margins are higher than they've ever been, as are executive salaries. Isn't the actual motor of the economy people spending money ? How about actually letting some of that wealth trickle down to the middle and lower class so everybody can buy stuff . Mega corporations and the richest are consolidating their wealth and power and we are all paying the price.

You are insane.. ITs all in your mind. The US government will just print more money like they have been doing for the last 60-years,. This is this why we have 31Trillion in debt, our politicians has not legislated any spending policy.. Our policy is just ignore the debt and print more money.. You are crying wolf and scaring people for no reason.

Mr. Forbes are you maybe fear mongering a bit? We have heard from your kind for over 5 years " the crash is coming!! The crash is coming!!" Being the economy is fake and debt can never be paid for, and being world governments are printing money like crazy because the gold standard was converted to the debt model, over and over we hear lies and fake news that we are headed.for a massive crash. If there was going to be a crash, I'm sure the pandemic would have caused it! People wake up we are constantly being fed fake news every day thanks to the most usless information standard today…social media! Be calm and patient we grow through challenging times now and then, there will be no crash! If there is….global civil war will end this system the world over!!

If it happens and millennials get screwed over once again the tea party that walk down New York will look like your church group on Sunday those guys on January 6 will look like your wrestling coach in high school. It will not be good instead of a tea party walking down the street you’ll have a pitchfork and torch party walking down the street. Just my thoughts I wouldn’t doubt it I’m a millennial I’ve been screwed over by five crisis screwed over a single father raising a child took my house took my car lot but I still rebuilt but if something like this was to happen again a guy like me would lose my mind totally . So I hope y’all get them things fixed

Steve, every talking head including CNN analysts are saying that the Democrats will loose control of the House in the November midterms. Based on a turnaround by the Republican of the economy when sensible politicians are finally making good decisions in 2023, how long will the new attitude of Congress require to have a positive affect on all things that affect the economy.. do you think that mid year is a safe expectation?

This actually seems like history is repeating itself the Great Depression. You know the American government should have had a backup plan for something like this you would think!
Take care of your people they are the ones that make the business not the business makes the people. I guess the American government wants pandemonium here's an example January 6th the insurrection. Here's another example the mass shooting in Uvalde Texas. These are uproars that something wants something to happen like a revolt? Or another example the shooting of Japanese prime minister Abe. Destruction ,confusion, chaos, hated , pain in our hearts, anger, fear, lost, maybe to lose faith in our beliefs. I know this is not coincidental that all this stuff is going on in the world. I know the darkness that rides beneath the Earth will uprise when change happens too quickly!

  39. Gvozden Mladenovic says:

All of this could have been avoided if US, UK, EU and other US puppets and muppets have put a 1/100 of the effort they put in inciting wars accross the globe (Russia, China, Serbia) into restoring supply chain and controlling windfall profit post pandemic. Unfortunatelly, there is no interest in peace, there is no gain in restoring quality of living, and these effort will take a bit longer than a quarter to implement, which means that on short term there is no good metrics to support this. I am so sad that people in US give their and their family lives to oligarchs without at least a minimum guarantee for retirement saving, this is way pass worng and directly inhuman and against UN human rights declaration. And to see people like this old, fat, manupilating white supremacist who fills his pockets on misfortune of others while suggesting that "free market" solves everything is just makes me sick. If there is one thing clear is that there is NO FREE MARKET, we only have highly manipulated, monopolistic market that only cares about making money from making people miserable. That is clearly not a solution, it is a problem and we need to remove it like a cancer: take the sharpest tool you have a very carefully rip it off and then destroy it.

Reduce taxes: I agree! Anyone who has low enough capital should not pay taxes at all. All others, and especially big companies and investors should pay 90%+ tax on income and at least 10%-20% tax on capital on top. But this is not going to happen because in almost all countries in the world politicans and their mecenas are the ones impacted (which accounts for less than 1% of world population), and instead they prefer to charge income tax and value added tax to regular people and reduce capital tax and other form of corporate taxes (which impacts more than 99% of population).

We need revolution, not empty solutions and brainwashing like in this video.

When it comes to investing, people who have a financial plan are more likely to feel prepared to meet their financial goals. Been into this experience since 2016 and now 6 years on extremely pleased with the decision I made. There's no shortcut to getting rich, but there are smart ways to go about it

Steve, thank you for the "heads up." Since there is no security in our government, do you suggest the buying of physical silver, as it stands out by way of its scarcity because of the lack of mining activity?
