Is LinkedIn the brand new Tinder?
Apparently, for some people it’s, as one woman on TikTok revealed that a person slid into her DMs, asking her on a date via LinkedIn, the favored business and employment social media platform.
User Hannah Harmelin shared more concerning the incident in a viral video that has greater than 741,000 views. It sparked a debate between commenters over whether or not it was an appropriate modern-day dating practice.
“Hey Hannah–skipping the road on a dating app and coming straight to you,” the person’s message read, as seen in her video. “Aggressive move, ikik.”
The message continued: “Life’s too short to not go for what I’m highly involved in. Completely satisfied to attach no matter your openness to satisfy.”

To top all of it off, the mystery man signed his note, “Kindest regards.”
“This mans really got here to my LINKEDIN,” she wrote in blue text over the 5-second clip, which also featured Harmelin sliding a pair of black sunglasses onto her face.
The Post has reached out to Harmelin for an announcement.
Within the comments section of her video, many users called out the person for his daring inquiry, with one even labeling it as “truthfully a red flag,” with one other agreeing, writing, “Sir I take advantage of this to further my profession not discover a hookup.”
“I’m unsure about this, prefer to maintain it skilled on LinkedIn,” another person admitted.
“I might still find it weird because LinkedIn will not be a dating app,” one person typed.
Others, nevertheless, praised him for it — and, further, urged Harmelin to present the guy a likelihood.
