I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks.I believe having 75K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a FA) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and losing all the good opportunities

This started in 2021. As soon as the FED started trimming and raising. That when the Recession started.
Gold is up $15 so we all know what the Federal Reserve is going to do .I think the market is over bought and once an adult will step into the room I mean Federal reserve chairman Mr. Jerome Powell he is going to ruin the party by raising rates to stop inflation. So before he walks in my trade is selling way out of the money short calls spreads for SPY strike price 398 short calls and 405 long calls expiration date 7/29/22
The whole world is going through some serious economic challenges. From Covid to the War. You can’t expect a whole lot of smash mouth growth. That just being ignorant. It’s going to take some serious time to get back before Covid. But no telling about this war. Who will be The Last Man Standing. Zelinsky or Poo Head Putin.
I can't but help wonder when these "analysts" who have a horse in the race, say sell sell are they just lowering the price so they can buy back in.

These mainstream economists have not been correct through any of this Covid/global turmoil economy. They are still using boomer era logic, and it simply doesn't apply anymore. The dollar 💵 is not the almighty savior anymore, and they can't wrap their heads around that.
Don't buy yet, don't sell, sit on your assets for a few more months. End of 2022 / Early 2023 will be closer to the bottom. Best wishes, good luck all.

it's just hard to say what's priced in versus what's not….the way the market is trading right now, it seems to be based on the assumption inflation has peaked and things are only going to get better from here. if that's not the case, I can see further drops with Fed getting more aggressive and US falling to a recession. but if inflation is slowing already, I dont think Fed will keep tightening….they will probably have one or two rate hikes and hold it there

This's a great time to invest, though the market appears to be going through a major correction. Whales move the market, regardless of whose holding. They have lots of cash on hand right now from all the sell-offs and waiting for a buying opportunity that will push the price up. Spent my 30s investing in several stocks.
