Why weren't they buying the houses before the mortgage rates increased? Where are they buying these homes!?

Something is wrong with America when we allow FOREIGNERS to purchase real estate in our county when CITIZENS can't afford housing!

Sadly, money talk again. Rich people from other countries have money to buy home from U S easily. But people who lives in US with middle income barely could afford to buy one.

  5. Devon Devon says:

How much was spent on home purchasing at that time? I am guessing that 59 billion is about 2% of the amount spent around 2.8 trillion. In the DailyMail, (China purchase 6.1 billion on US property) many posters were alarmed about this. But Canada spent 5.4 billion. But 6.1 billion is just 13% greater than 5.4 billion, and China is 35 times more populous than Canada and its nominal GDP
is about 9 times. Yes, it PPP GDP is even larger, but we want to use nominal/exchange GDP as opposed to PPP since these countries are buying property within the US.
    PS
The total value of a US home in 2021 was 43.4 trillion dollars, according to Zillow.
Countries which spent the most, according to the report. total spent was 59 billion
    China 6.1 billion
    Canada 5.4
    India 3.6
    Mexico 2.9
    Brazil 1.6 billion
    Colombia 1 billion
They got to spend which is great

Hamid AlBayati is not a real estate investor. He was an Iraqi official made he fortune from corruption money. Compare his assets before and after the American invasion to Iraq and you be sure that all his money is stolen.

Americans seem to not like it when foreigners come and raise the cost of living. But they sure like going to other countries and take advantage.

Young Americans are suffering from paying rent 2000 a months & these foreigner buy all the expensive houses here & there,,, There should have some kind of rules & regulations or law. All these politicians we elected to do a good work becoming corrupt & they don't care about American's well being.
