The world is full of investors that are merely clowns, ignorant of history and economic history. People are talking about whether the economy is in a recession when Central Banks around the world have had interest rates at record lows for over a decade. That isnt a normal economic environment, I hate to break it to you all. The Denial Depression is in year 14 and chugging along nicely. Given Congress refuses to pass any meaningful fiscal policies for the last 40 years, we can expect this malaise to continue until the entire current 535 members are replaced. Fat chance of that happening.
When i lived in the US everyone looked down on people getting government handouts now all the US is getting government handouts but they call it STIMULUS 😆
In the current case, a significant portion of the inflation is caused by supply chain disruptions. To reduce current inflation the government should be using tax incentives to compensate consumers for delaying their purchase of homes and other high priced items until next year and the following years, when the supply chains should be more stable, and our productive capacity will be restored. This would allow people to save more money, while demand is reduced, instead of the Fed taking away their money to reduce demand.
One major factor was left out is that we are seeing global inflation . I saw it in the news that most countries are all competing for parts , products , food etc. Even nations that managed their rates better are seeing major issues . The glut of money was an issue sure, but the surging demand from nation that re-opened from covid lockdowns played a larger role . Add to this pandemic-related staffing issues and the intentional global oil supply problems and its a nightmare . I known the intention was to explain inflation but that doesn’t do justice to the current inflation on a global scale.

I personally cleared a $230k debt going aggressive in the other markets. Right now the markets are crazy but there are still hidden opportunities therein. Having monitored my portfolio performance return huge six figures from the last 2 quarters of last year, I have learned why the market will remain a money den for those who know where to look.
Recessions are where millionaires are created. I feel for the older generation, but if you are young or middle age, you should do everything possible to double and triple your investments.

Everybody is concerned about the market going down but refusing to take advantage of it. Most of the Crypt0s and blue chip stocks are down at the moment and now is a very good time to invest in them.
