Resident Brian Enriquez told local affiliate KPNX that he was at work at the time the footage was taken but says he alerted both police and UPS as soon as he discovered it.
In a statement to NBC News, UPS said the unidentified driver is doing ‘fine’ after contacting his manager, who then ‘immediately provided assistance.’ Temperatures in Scottsdale have consistently topped 100°F nearly every day for the past month this summer.

Take pride in his job . But in the end of the day you come first
And i bet he didn't even get to go home because they don't give a dam about you
This is so sad. 💔
Actor. Not a UPS driver.
Thanks UPS. Driven to accomplish the mission. I hope this driver gets help. Go Brown
At Amazon we do have air conditioner in our vans but it does nothing.. especially getting in and out our trucks every .2 second's and we can't drive with the side door open
Forget that, I would have stayed in that porch, took off my shoes, socks, hat, and shirt, and called 911. I know the economy is bad, but what good are you dead?
This may be an issue that needs fixed but just as Biden announced a climate heat team does this start hitting the internet. Kinda weird that when they attack the 2nd amendment all these shootings hit the news constantly too. 🤔
Poor guy. I hate to see him driving away not feeling well.
Whoever posted this, that music is weird/terrible !
This situation breaks my heart. The lack of compassion in this country makes me so sad.
Oh my God, I feel so bad for him, poor guy
whew! that heat is no joke! 🔥 dude looks delerious for real
These companies don't care about their workers, long as the job is done or they will replace you period!
I thought he was gonna fall out again while he was walking in that hot sun ☀️back to the truck. 🚚 I pray 🙏 that he got some help and is doing ok.
Usps mail carriers deal with no ac an walking in the heat so I can understand
I really real for this MAN. Being accountable speaks volumes! Yo my God, Bless you. You are not just a servant!
I use to deliver for ups It was good money but the injuries you get from it is not worrh it my knees never been the same plus the truck was like 200 degrees in the back if its like 90 outside u literally have to run back there and run back out i kept a cooler and ice with a towel to rap my head with everytime i went back there i was like 90 pounds after working there lost alot of weight
We make sure that our mail carrier gets a half frozen bottle of water or Gatorade on the really hot days. They only have a little metal fan in the mail truck 😢
This is not right.
To: UPS, provide a/c for your drivers!!!
They don't have AC on those trucks smh
That poor guy!! I don’t know how they handle the heat! I guess lots of water AND Gatorade!
Jesus….this made me cry..Sometimes we as workers forget how hard we try to meet MANDATS and requirements of our jobs and ignore our bodies. This man truly reached his limit and still was trying give 120%. Only to not be recognized and appreciated. God bless his BODY&SOUL
God heal him
Tht hurt me to see this. Smh this is freaking sad how companies try and work u to mere death.
he must lay down a bit then back to work
he just got out of a truck, does it not have AC, if not he needs to talk to his manager or whatever, if it does have AC then he's acting for the camera
not a drop of sweat on that uniform
Are they allowed to buy portable ac units to put on their trucks???
They need to put ac in those trucks. Thats ridiculous 😒
I pray that his alright. Anyone check on the driver. God bless you 🙏🏼♥️ 🙏🏿🙏🏿
You know guys I don't know if you know but Esteban Chávez die after he colapse on that porch on his UPS truck. To sad this happened my condolences to the family .🥺😥😢
😪 I'm in Tears and feel so sorry for him no way he should drive and after seeing this I would leave a complimentary cooler with a note free cold ice cold water and leave free water bottles cooled in a cooler that can last all day until I got home it has been extremely hot and I live in Florida and it's been extremely hot poor guy he could die or cause a accident I hope he was OK 🙏🏽
I don't understand this isn't human rights violation. The right to feel safe at work and be equip to our health concerns.
I worked for Usps thinking government job = good benefits, union , insurance, retirement etc , reality the Usps is worst than ups, fedex DHL and every delivery service combined.
Not only I learned that all the benefits were only given in the past to old employees so the new employees have non of that but also regular mail carriers have an established route which mean they get paid full day if they finish early and go home , the new ones are considered temporary workers, after one year Usps have to make you regular employee, so to avoid that basically they fire you for a week and back to temporary worker they call it a break in service , that can go on for years , I ask some coworkers how long have they been waiting to become regulars they say some 6, 8,even 10 years 😣
I had no day off and was asked to work from 6 am to 10 if possible especially during Hollidays but 8 out of the 12 months I worked there i had that scheduled , the faster I got the more work I would get i was 43 at the time and the daily walk could be 15 miles a day . in summer the temperatures were 105 , inside the tin can we call that delivery truck with no insulation it will easily get to 115 it was a nightmare but I needed the money, after a year and 40 pounds less I gave up
I still remember people yelling at me during Hollidays because their packages were a day or two late and finally understand the meaning behind the saying: going postal some customers really needed a good shake in the head . My heart goes to those who kill themselves for the need of a job like this and always appreciate the people who left a cold drink at their doors for me they literally saved my life a few times
Prayers for that driver and all others like him
I’m a retired mail carrier and I know firsthand about intense heat while delivering mail. No air conditioning in the trucks just a little fan mounted on the dash
I hope he is doing good. Do anyone knows how is he doing , we lost Estaben , one young ups driver due to heat 😢😢😢😢💔
😢🙏🏼
Leave frozen water bottles a cool down cloths if you are expecting a delivery in this heat… be considerate
He needed to go to a hospital because he could pass out during driving the UPS truck and get into an accident and he could have died from extreme heat also he needed to drink a lot of water to prevent this
What a choice. Risking you life and health or putting food on the table for your family.
Yet he still delivered the package and rang the doorbell, give this man a raise.
Sad. In Phoenix, Arizona they should pass a law that requires UPS to put AC in their vehicles. door open with no A/C plus running around when its anywhere from 100-130° outside. Thank you so much UPS for taking care of your employees. SCUMBAGS
This needs to be show worldwide. The word needs to be out. UPS is about production over health and safety of their hourly employees. My center had another death of a driver. My friend. Rip bud.
