Giancarlo Stanton left Saturday’s night’s game against the Braves with left hamstring tightness and can undergo imaging on Sunday, the Yankees announced.
The move got here after Stanton doubled and scored in the underside of the fourth.
He was pinch-hit for with Trent Grisham to steer off the underside of the sixth and the Yankees leading, 4-1 in The Bronx.
The 34-year-old has stayed healthy this season, bouncing back from an unsightly 2023 with 18 homers in 69 games.
Unlike in recent seasons, Stanton hasn’t played the outfield in any respect after spending the offseason getting leaner in hopes of avoiding the leg injuries which have plagued him much of the previous two seasons.
But now the Yankees only can hope Stanton won’t be out for an prolonged period of time.
