White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha said the president is taking Paxlovid for his symptoms.

Why do I feel this is a commercial opt for the makers of Paxlovid. I hadn't heard anything about this New drug! It's to convenient for President Biden to get covid after his Saudi Arabia trip. Is he trying to deflect attention away from it. It's as though he had this (covid/paxlovid) in his back pocket and he waited to use it when needed.
