Cross one name off the list of potential bullpen options for the Yankees and Mets.
Wandy Peralta, the left-hander who pitched for the Yankees the last three seasons, agreed to a four-year, $16.5 million contract with the Padres on Wednesday, The Post’s Jon Heyman confirmed.
The Yankees were mildly fascinated with keeping Peralta, 32, in The Bronx and had talks with him, though as Heyman previously reported, the team is alleged to be making low offers to free-agent relievers.
The Mets, who after re-signing right-hander Adam Ottavino on Saturday are pursuing left-handed bullpen options, were in on Peralta.
Peralta had a 2.82 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 133 strikeouts in 153 innings across 165 regular-season appearances during his time with the Yankees.
He also allowed three runs in 8 ⅔ innings across seven appearances throughout the 2022 playoffs, appearing in all five games of the ALDS against the Guardians.
Peralta began his MLB profession in 2016 with the Reds, who waived him in 2019 before he was claimed by the Giants.
The Yankees traded Mike Tauchman for Peralta and Connor Cannon in April 2021.
After claiming Matt Gage off waivers from the Astros on Monday, the Yankees have 4 left-handed relievers on their 40-man roster together with Victor Gonzalez, Nick Ramirez and Matt Krook.
Brooks Raley is the lone lefty lock for the Mets bullpen, with Josh Walker another choice on the 40-man roster.
