U.S. Struggles To Roll Out Enough Monkeypox Vaccines As Cases Surge

The U.S. is struggling to vaccinate Americans against monkeypox as cases now double in counties such as Los Angeles and Miami-Dade. After much criticism, the Biden administration rushed out deployment of vaccines from overseas and declared a public health emergency last week. The U.S. has invested more than a billion dollars into developing the vaccine but has just over one million shots on hand.
