Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s inner circle hopes the couple isn’t “past the purpose of no return” following reports of marital troubles.
Speaking recently to Us Weekly, an insider said friends of Brady, 45, and Bündchen, 42, “are upset” on the Buccaneers quarterback “for going back on his word and coming out of retirement,” referencing his NFL change of heart.
“They hate the way in which Tom is refusing to bend for Gisele,” the source continued.
Allegations of discord between Brady and Bündchen first surfaced in September, when Page Six exclusively reported that the pair had engaged in heated arguments over his NFL return. A source later stated, nonetheless, that their issues have “nothing to do along with his decision to return to the NFL,” noting the claims are “sexist.”
“The issues are usually not on account of his decision to play football again — sometimes things are complicated,” the source said.
Friends of the couple — who’ve been married since 2009 — are hoping the 2 can discover a way forward together.
“This was really the primary big issue they’ve had of their marriage. Friends are hoping they aren’t past the purpose of no return,” the Us Weekly insider said.
Page Six recently reported that Brady and Bündchen have hired divorce attorneys. The Brazilian supermodel was also photographed outside legal offices last week, sans her wedding ring.
“I never actually thought this argument could be the tip of them, but it surely looks prefer it is,” a source previously told Page Six.
Bündchen, who shares son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9, with Brady, turned heads on social media this week when she reacted to a post from Jay Shetty, an creator and former Hindu monk, that centered on relationships.
“You may’t be in a committed relationship with someone who’s inconsistent with you. Read that again,” the post read, to which the “Lessons” scribe replied with a prayer hands emoji.
Brady, who also co-parents son Jack, 15, along with his ex, “Blue Bloods” actress Bridget Moynahan, is entrenched in his twenty third NFL season and his third with the Buccaneers.
The three-2 Buccaneers will travel to Pittsburgh this week to face the 1-4 Steelers.
