Funny how they show a poor innocent child at the border but they fail to mention the drugs, gangs, and sexual assaults that are in abundance in our cities from undocumented (ie illegal ) immigrants who are somehow managing to cross over despite title 42. Well over 1 million since Biden took office. The hard facts are that the majority of Americans supported Trump's remain in Mexico policy. The last time I checked we still consider ourselves a Democracy where the majority rules. Ignore that at your own peril. It's not a double standard. Europeans have been abundantly clear which refugees they want and which economic migrants they do not want. The people at the southern border are usually Amerindians whose ancestry can be traced to 'pre Columbus'. In south American countries, the Spanish have ruled with an iron hand for the last 500 years. Their ancestry can be traced to the Spanish invasion in the 1500s. The many dictators that the U.S. has supported/installed in the countries below the border are also of Spanish ancestry. P.S This historical info is completely absent in history books in the American school system.
