Tesla is delaying the launch of Robotaxi to October from August, Bloomberg News reported Thursday, citing people acquainted with the choice.
The Elon Musk-led automaker’s shares fell greater than 5% on the news.

To combat a slowdown in EV sales, which generate greater than 80% of Tesla’s quarterly revenue, the corporate has shifted focus over the past few months to its artificial-intelligence efforts equivalent to its Robotaxi and Optimus humanoid robot.
Tesla didn’t immediately reply to a Reuters request for comment.
