Taylor Swift’s rumored latest romance with The 1975’s Matty Healy has skeptical fans raising their eyebrows.
It was reported on Wednesday that the “Bad Blood” singer, 33, and Healy, 34, are “head over heels in love” with one another — but Swifties aren’t convinced, taking to Twitter to share their confusion.
“Stop saying Taylor Swift is dating Matty Healy. Her taste in men is bad but even trash has categories,” someone scoffed.
“[Healy] could never pull Taylor. Like, she’s the queen,” one other declared.
One fan wrote: “Taylor Swift is ‘head over heels in love’ with Matty Healy? Be so F–KING for real first lmfaoaoaoo.”
A user then chimed in: “I hope it’s true that Taylor Swift and Matty Healy are dating that’s literally funnier than anything I could have imagined.”
“If Taylor Swift dating Matty Healy is true I’m blocking her on Spotify,” one Swiftie noted.
“I can’t imagine I’m tweeting this but can someone tell me are Taylor Swift and Matty Healy dating since the [timeline] seems to think so and I’m about to [vomit],” one other fan wrote.
The Sun reported Wednesday that the musicians are dating following Swift’s breakup with British actor Joe Alwyn.
The insider claimed that Healy and the Grammy winner are “head over heels in love” and are able to go public at her upcoming Nashville tour stop.
“Taylor and Joe actually split up back in February, so there was absolutely no crossover,” the publication alleged.

“It’s super-early days, but it surely feels right,” the source added. “They first dated, very briefly, almost 10 years ago but timings just didn’t work out.”
“Each Matty and Taylor have been touring over the past few weeks, so it’s been quite a lot of Face-Timing and texting but she cannot wait to see him again,” they continued.
A resurfaced interview from 2016 even showed Healy gushing over Swift. In a profile for Elle magazine on the time, he called her “probably the most gracious, hard-working, creatively gifted and exquisite women that I actually have had the pleasure to fulfill.”

“I personally have quite a lot of respect and admiration for her,” he explained. The duo was last rumored to be together in 2014 when she donned his band’s T-shirt and attended his concert.
This past January, Healy announced on stage that he would stop kissing fans at his band’s shows out of respect for his “queen” T-Swift, who had joined him on stage on the time to perform a canopy of The 1975’s hit “The City.”
“I’m not kissing anybody in front of Taylor Swift, have some respect,” Healy said, as seen in a resurfaced TikTok video.
