The Supreme Court said Monday that a high school football coach who sought to kneel and pray on the field after games was protected by the Constitution, a decision that opponents said would open the door to “much more coercive prayer” in public schools.

Supreme Court sides with the Constitution, something that hasn't been happening for many years.

How does a coach praying on the field with his team bother other people???? He's asking God to look after his team while on the field. If you are bothered by this, that's your own problem not his.

Thank you I will pray for them too

So teachers are allowed to religiously pressure our kids, but teaching them that some people are gay is sexual grooming? Do conservatives ever think about why they love this county. It's because it's been good to them. That's not the case for everyone. Their patriotism is an emblem of their privilege. When they talk about freedom, they are talking about their freedom to enforce their will on you, not your freedom to resist.

So where is my freedom over my own body, huh? Separation of church and state my arse!

OK, but I don’t wanna hear any bitching if a Muslim (or any other) coach or teacher wants to do the same

Religious cultists are trying to ruin our country. This catholic court isn't ruling by law, just their whackjob beliefs.

HEY , COACH !!! Have you ever read the buybull ??? Did you happen to run across MATHEW 6 : 5 ? ? ? Seems pretty clear cut to me . Never mind the SCOTUS . Or did you get special permission to CHANGE his COMMANDMENT ? ? ?

I’ve already written to the Bremerton School district to let them know that if Kennedy is re-hired and if he is allowed to again pray at the 50 yard line, ME AND MY CREW EXPECT EQUAL TIME! We want to be able to pray to our Gods at the same time he prays to his! Not sure who those gods will be… might be Buddha or a Golden Calf, but we will be doing our thing!

Seattle is now officially becoming Sodom and Gomorrah as described in the Bible. Sexual perversion dominates Seattle to the extent it even exceeds Sodom and Gomorrah in the Bible. God is not deceived…God's judgement will come in some form and those in charge will not escape.

….and if a coach is Muslim? Where is the separation of church & state?
I guess the un Supreme Court just wants to pick & choose which constitution right to uphold. 🤮

Don’t give him his job back. He’s a contractor. The Supreme Court states that he does not have protections of an employee. So even if they say he can pray, the school has the right to protect its interests and the interests of children; by choosing not renew any contract. He can go to B school for that.
