Victorian Shadow Health Minister Georgie Crozier says the state government is “blaming Victorians” over the ramping crisis.
“This is just years of mismanagement and lack of planning as we know. COVID of course has exacerbated issues,” she told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
Ms Crozier said the state government is “responsible for this mess – no one else”.
It comes as new research from the Medical Journal of Australia found ramping in Victoria may have been associated with 70 preventable deaths in chest pain patients in 2018.
