Russia has reportedly begun constructing a Rezonans-NE VHF radar on the hilltop of Korzunova air base located on its western border. As per reports, the radar is constructed to counter the F-35 fighter jets of the US and NATO allies. The location for installing the Rezonans-NE radar was first announced in 2020, as per reports. However, recent satellite images show that the construction work has been ongoing at the Soviet-era base since July 2021.

What seems stupid is actually clever. War is game of deception. However it a strategic move to freeze farther expansion after capturing the east region. Build systematic defence to hold the region. Putin isn't very smart is he? F35s are designed to take out radars and anti aircraft systems. He can track them all he wants, but soon as the F35s turn off their transponders and go stealth, he won't know where they are until it's too late. The USA usually doesn't sell stuff like the F35, so if we're willing to sell them now, the top secret technology stuff coming out of area 51 and skunk works must be so much more advanced now. Russia is just now using technology we've already had and stopped using in the 80s and 90s. Now all these countries have drones, the US had drones in the 90s and used them in the early 2000s. Between all of the new laser our militaries in the west have been coming up with and the hundreds of military satellites, the stealth aircraft, and all these new attack and air to air refueling drones, we're already passed the shooting missiles from ships and using artillery. We can literally watch all of Russia china and north Korea from any US base around the world and have high altitude drones or stealth aircraft drop bombs on them in literally minutes instead of hours now. Putin is still fighting with WW2 tactics and old 80s and 90s technology. Russia is basically North Korea 2.0.
