Pregnant influencer Jackie Miller James was awake and reunited together with her baby on Sunday after being placed in a medically induced coma while being treated for an aneurysm, her family said in an announcement.
The girl’s family shared an update about her condition on Sunday, greater than a month after the health and wonder influencer suffered an aneurysm while 39 weeks pregnant together with her first child.
“We’re beyond thrilled to share that your loving prayers for Jackie have been working!” read a post on Jackie’s Instagram.
“Jackie is awake and was recently transferred to among the best neurological rehabilitation hospitals within the country. The doctors have been pleased upon her latest tests, numbers, and evaluations, noting that Jackie is performing above expectations at this stage of her recovery and is progressing more with every passing day.”
The family added that “while Jackie is making wonderful strides, she has an incredibly long road to recovery ahead of her.”
Miller James was in a medically induced coma when her child was delivered by C-Section.
The newborn was placed in her arms on the time, in a heart-wrenching moment captured in a photograph and posted on a GoFundMe.
The newborn was hospitalized in a neonatal intensive care unit for 12 days and was doing well.
“Jackie & Austin’s baby girl is a relentless source of sunshine for all the family and continues to grow right into a completely satisfied, healthy, and animated little angel,” the family’s update read. “Jackie has also recently been reunited together with her baby, and spends a terrific deal of every day together with her entire family while within the hospital.”

Miller James’ husband, Austin, found the expectant mother and rushed her over to the ICU where she underwent simultaneous emergency C-section and brain surgeries.
“If Jackie and the child arrived a couple of minutes later on the hospital, we likely would have lost each of them. James’ sisters, Natalie and Nicelle, said on the fundraising site. “But as an alternative, Jackie is constant to fight for her life every day and we’re optimistic she will beat the chances by surrounding her with the precise specialists and methods of therapy.”
Miller James has been sharing her pregnancy journey together with her over 27,000 followers on Instagram, giving frequent updates on her day by day routines, skincare and symptoms.
Before becoming a full-time influencer, Miller James worked for a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills for six years, after she spent five living in Latest York as a backup dancer for all different sorts of artists.
