It’s protected to say Patrick Mahomes approves of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s whirlwind romance.
In a preview for an upcoming interview with “CBS Mornings,” the Chiefs quarterback explained “how cool” his teammate’s girlfriend is, and gushed over Swift’s friendship along with his wife, Brittany Mahomes.
“At first, I feel like everybody stayed away and just let [Kelce] do what he was doing,” Mahomes said when ex-NFLer turned “CBS Mornings” host Nate Burleson asked if the tight end addressed his relationship within the locker room.
“But then he began bringing Taylor around and also you realized how cool an individual she was.
“For us [teammates] there have been a few jokes to start with, but now it’s just she’s a part of Chiefs Kingdom now, she’s a part of the team,” Mahomes said of Swift.
“It’s cool that she’s embraced Brittany they usually’ve built a friendship as well.”
Mahomes went on to praise his best friend, Kelce — who was a groomsman in his and Brittany’s wedding in Hawaii in March 2022 — and Swift for being a very good match.
“For me, it’s Travis man and he’s lucky enough to be with great girl and an amazing woman, and it’s been cool to type of interact along with her and see — because she’s top-tier at her career and see how she drives and she or he becomes that.

“It’s really cool to listen to about and see and now I actually have a first-hand have a look at that through Brittany and Travis’ eyes.
“It is basically cool, and I’m glad she’s the person who she is, and that’s why I feel she and Travis match so well.”
Swift and Brittany were spotted hanging out on quite a few occasions after the singer attended the Chiefs-Bears game at Arrowhead Stadium on Sept. 24.
Since then, the pair has been seen sharing sweet embraces at Chiefs games — including the signature handshake they debuted when Kansas City beat the Chargers at home on Oct. 22.
The 12-time Grammy winner and KC Current co-owner were photographed holding hands on girls’ nights out in Latest York City last month while the Chiefs were in Germany for the NFL’s international game against the Dolphins.
That was the identical weekend Swift hosted a few of the numerous others of Chiefs players at her Tribeca apartment to look at the sport, including Paige Buechele, wife of backup quarterback Shane Buechele, and Lyndsay Bell, who’s married to tight end Blake Bell.
Kelce and Swift have been seen out with Mahomes and Brittany in Kansas City through the season and in-between her “Eras Tour” schedule.
The group was spotted leaving Miracle, a Christmas pop-up bar in Kansas City, following the Chiefs’ 20-17 loss against the Buffalo Bills on Dec. 10.
Swift will probably be in attendance when the Chiefs host the Raiders on Christmas Day, and for his or her home game against the Bengals at Arrowhead Stadium on Latest 12 months’s Eve, in keeping with Page Six.
