Draymond Green did a complete lot of talking over the weekend on the NBA All-Star Game, but legend Oscar Robertson was none too impressed by the Warriors’ star’s declaration that the league was “boring.”
The 86-year-old Robertson fired back at Green’s claim concerning the NBA, suggesting that Green may find the present game boring because he’s doing numerous passing and “not shooting quite a bit.”
“Draymond says a lot. Who cares what Draymond says?” Robertson said during a SiriusXM NBA Radio interview. “The sport is what it’s. People either just like the game or they don’t. And I feel people benefit from the game, especially if their team can win.
“To not single that out because I feel he knows the best way to play basketball. But he’s passing the ball to Curry greater than anyone I’ve ever seen in basketball. It may be boring to him at times due to what he’s doing, Perhaps it’s boring when he’s on the market. He’s not shooting quite a bit, and he’s not guarding quite a bit. So it’s boring.”

Green was not shy about his feelings concerning the state of the sport or the All-Star Game over the weekend, including lobbing loads of criticism concerning the latest All-Star Game format during TNT’s broadcast of Sunday’s festivities in San Francisco.
Green heavily criticized the inclusion of players from the Rising Stars Challenge, calling it “ridiculous.”
That prompted Charles Barkley to fireplace back throughout the broadcast seemingly lecturing Green and said, “His generation messed the sport up.”
The NBA has faced a growing problem in interest in its regular season games and All-Star Game and shrinking TV rankings.

Green was chatting with the media over the weekend when he spoke concerning the challenges the NBA is facing and made his comments that rubbed Robertson the unsuitable way.
“It’s not smart basketball”, Green said. “I saw a clip not too way back where Kobe said, it’s accidental basketball. He couldn’t have been more right. It was so refreshing to play against Bron, because every possession is sort of a chess match, but you don’t get that regularly. It’s just who can run faster, who can hit more 3s, it’s no substance. I feel it’s very boring.”
