Rookie quarterback Brock Purdy actually won the hearts of Niners fans on Sunday — the numerous others of 49ers players, particularly.
Because the 49ers spoiled Tom Brady’s California homecoming with a 35-7 blowout win over the Buccaneers, Olivia Culpo led the charge in congratulating Purdy, who connected with the model’s boyfriend, running back Christian McCaffrey, within the Week 14 victory.
“Okay okay okay okay he’s PURDY MUCH REALLY REALLY GOOD!!!!” Culpo, 30, exclaimed in an Instagram Story.
McCaffrey rushed for 119 yards and one touchdown on Sunday, together with two receptions for 34 yards and one other touchdown.
Along with Culpo, who has been dating McCaffrey, 26, for greater than three years, Kristin Juszczyk, the wife of fullback Kyle Juszczyk, celebrated Purdy’s first profession start after he replaced injured starter Jimmy Garoppolo last week.

Brandt, who played volleyball on the University of Northern Iowa, previously gushed about Purdy in an Instagram post from November. It’s unclear how long they’ve been dating.
Purdy, the ultimate pick on this 12 months’s NFL Draft, shined on Sunday, completing 16 of 21 attempts for 185 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran in for a touchdown in the primary half of the sport.

“It was surreal just standing there like, man, that’s Tom Brady talking to guys and dapping guys up. For him to have respect for what I did, it was pretty cool. I’m not going to lie,” Purdy said. “Being a little bit kid, watching that guy kill it throughout all these years in Super Bowls, to give you the chance to offer him a high five at the top was pretty cool.”
Purdy and the 49ers improved to 9-4 on Sunday and are currently atop the NFC West standings. They’ll face the Seahawks in Seattle this week on “Thursday Night Football.”
