Akron officers have released bodycam footage from the shooting of Jayland Walker. According to the authorities, an estimated 90 rounds were fired by at least eight officers killing and leaving the 25-year-old with 60 wounds to the body. Police said that the officers on the scene thought Walker was turning toward them, reaching for a gun. A gun was later found in Walker’s car. Walker’s family revealed that just a month ago, Jayland had lost his fiancé, and though he was sad, he did not exhibit any behavior that would scare the family. When the police try to pull you over you pull over.. you take responsibility for your actions whether you have drugs or guns or whatever and your vehicle.. people need to adult up and people need to stop making pathetic please about their family member being killed because they acted crazy and hostile at the police.. they should have to give a public apology for being so stupid to the police.. because at the end of the day police just want to go home from work they don't want to die at work and that's an absolute reasonable request….

I'm sorry he is dead but let's go over the stupid mistakes he made that caused his own death. He drove away from the police and they had to chase him, he shot at the police while he was chasing him for 6 minutes, and when he stop he rushed out of the car while wearing a hockey mask. Do you see were I'm going here, If he just stopped and did what the police said, he wouldn't be dead. And don't even think about playing the racist card, one or two of the officers that shot him was black too.

The news needs to be held accountable for their polarized reporting. Let's start with the facts. Police attempted to stop a vehical for a traffic stop and the suspect refused to yeald. Gun shots could be herd comming from the vehical. When the car slowed a unknown person with a head covering fled on foot. Police attempted to use a less lethal method to stop the suspect but it did not work. The police fearing the suspect was armed shot the suspect. It was later found the suspect was a black man and the firearm was dropped.
This is not taking sides, but reporting the facts. Please stop polarized media that causes a divided country.
