Russia has cut the amount of the gas it sends to Europe by shutting the key Nord Stream 1 pipeline for the second time this summer.
It said the latest restrictions would last for three days, and were necessary to allow repairs.
Russia has already significantly reduced its energy exports to the continent, sending prices soaring, but denies using gas as a political weapon.
Europe has historically been very reliant on Russian gas to meet its energy needs.

If Russia is closed, one less sanction. Even president Biden when he came into office started closing down oil business having USA getting gas from overseas. Trump was wanting USA to be energy independence, Biden not so much. Biden closed down a pipeline project but was in favor of Russia. Hopefully your country has people in favor of independence.

Biden and his European cronies have themselves to blame. You can't just have your cake and eat it. Let's all blame Putin for our mistakes. This has nothing to do with Russia or Ukraine. It's all about America and Europe's war with Russia but at the expense of Ukraine. Many eastern nations see America and Europe's nation's as cowards for using another nations soldiers to fight there war with Russia. Inflation hike is the making of America and European leaders. There spiteful sanctions have prevented goods moving freely around the globe leaving shortages leading to price increases. What we see now is America and Europe becoming increasingly isolated as eastern nations are turning there backs on the west. Russia has become richer from these sanctions and the West has become it's poorer neighbours. I blame Biden and European leaders for this global catastrophe.
Russia is tired that german breach the contract by not following repair procedure (just look at how long the previous 'repair' took). Plus under the contract, the turbine must be sent back and forth to siemens instead of russia. The constant fixing due to the self-sanctions is also making the operation/gas shipment pretty much impossible.
The logical way is to roll back the sanctions so that the repair can be done without any delay or… Open nordstream 2!
Those politicians get paid so high by the people yet they can't figure this out ….. I guess when the politicians won't be really affected, they can stand strong facing any adversity!

All of Europe needs to get whatever nuclear power plants they have off-line back on-line and going. They need to learn that those cheap $20 ceramic heaters are actually more efficient than gas. Buy one for each room. Upgrade you circuit breakers and panels. Be warm this winter and give the orcs in Russia the middle finger.

Why are the West crying they have no gas. They Sanctioned Russia and one of the turbines that was fixed has been stuck in Germany which is the reason Gazprom could only supply 40-20% of normal flow. Now another turbine is leaking Russia has no option but to shut nordstream1 down totaly untill they get the turbine back from Germany to continue the flow into Europe at 20% untill this other turbine is fixed.
The West need to stop crying about gas. You can't assist the killing of thousands of Russians and expect them to be helpfull. SUCK IT UP is what our Western leaders keep telling us for them causing the economic collaps of the West.
