A judge did not make a decision after a hearing in New York City Thursday on the status of DACA recipients in the United States. The plaintiffs, all DACA recipients, argued for relief for 92,000 first-time DACA recipients with renewal applications that were filed more than a year after being expired.

DACA for ending chain migration and greencard lottery, give them the opportunity not the extended* family, create a merit based i*mmigration system as in Australia/Canada without any access to welfare

Meanwhile my relatives have been waiting over 15 years to come to the country and can't even get to see the court about their applications… Why do you punish people who obeys the law and rewards those who don't? DACA's should be deported… Don't let them become another anchor baby.

It's not just for those who arrived illegally. It's for those who also came here legally but whose push for permanent residence was stalled as a result of the 911/immigration reform. The backlog at that time left a lot of people in the gray in terms of how to proceed. Plus, it's expensive to keep reapplying and filing applications over and over.
