Am I the only one sho thinks suicide is not the solution…she left her children alone..great example..why cant a woman take a stand for herself and leave an abusive man? Why do women think they can change a man who beats the shit out of them? Why? Why dont wr teach our daughters that these men are not worth of any love or respect…
My heart breaks every time I think of her kids. How will they cope with this loss? It is really sad that women are still abused in our society irrespective of their communities and there are many who continue to tolerate such crimes. For all those women who put up with such men and think that their husbands may change, they are simply disillusioned. The problem is such men don’t even realise that they are doing something terribly wrong. I pray Mandeep Kaur gets justice.

The whole situation breaks my heart, this is an ongoing problem in the South Asian community, where the wife does not have control of anything, even if the husband is not drunk…I can't believe that the husband in this case forced her to commit suicide, this is abetting suicide and should be looked at seriously..pls treat everyone with care and respect (this goes for EVERYONE)
This is disgusting DISGUSTING. He deserves death penalty in my opinion for doing this, abusing someone his wife the mother of his kids to the verge of suicide. I do agree that she is an adult and she should have left with her children a while ago and that suicide is not good but what he did is sickening.

This is really heart breaking , not only her in-laws , husband but even her parents are responsible for what happened to her as her parents did not support her , even though she is educated but without support she was helpless….many times its parents who ask their daughters to entertain the non-sense of in-laws , parents ask their daughters to tolerate abuse from in-laws , be it verbal or physical abuse is abuse……lots of prayers and blessing to her daughters

In many cases we often see even if one complains, parents don’t show support and even if one returns they see their own daughter as a burden and society bombards questions like anything. That’s the main reason it takes a lot of courage to speak up and leave. I feel so sorry for this lady. On one hand handful of women brag about women empowerment but unfortunately it has not changed much. Empowerment doesn’t mean only about women who have financial independence or equal rights but upliftment of emotional support as well.
Someone needs to inform her piece of crap Husband that it’s HIS sperm that determines the gender of your baby, NOT her. So HE is the one who couldn’t give himself a son. Hearing him verbally abusing her & telling her that he didn’t want their Daughters & that he hates her for not giving him a son, was SO sad.
