The FBI searched Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate as part of an investigation into whether he took classified records from the White House to his Florida residence, people familiar with the matter said, a dramatic and unprecedented escalation of law enforcement scrutiny of the former president.
Trump, disclosing the search in a lengthy statement, asserted that agents had opened a safe at his home and described their work as an “unannounced raid” that he likened to “prosecutorial misconduct.” He was in New York, planning to meet later Tuesday at his Bedminster, New Jersey, club with members of the Republican Study Committee, a group headed by Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana that says it is committed to putting forth his priorities in Congress.

Okay, so let's say it's the worst-case scenario for Trump. He gets charged for damaging in incorrectly storing restricted federal documents. We have seen this in 2015 with Hillary Clinton where she did something slightly worse. For storing federal documents on a private server and then purposefully destroying it all when she was informed that people are coming to collect it and then ordering her staff to wipe and then destroy their phones. She was still able to run for president even though her entire server was leaked online for anyone to download.
This is a lot of noise over something that we have kinda seen in the past, would it not be fair for Trump to use the same excuse in the worst-case scenario and still run? BTW who else members the hilarious defense Hillary's lawyer gave that worked for some mad reason?
