The driver of a MTA bus in the Bronx has been hospitalized in critical condition after the bus they were driving hit an elevated subway pillar in the Bronx Thursday morning.

In the meanwhie MTA has to check with the interior video footage that any lawsuits do come from people who were actually onboard and not going onboard after the crash….It's a wide spread practice to get some easy money when accidents occur.

Just hoping MTA doesn't do something petty and cut her off. I think 14 years is more than. enough for her to get medical & 401K for retirement.
Do good by her and not allow DMV to make the call to snatch her license away

Definitely it’s a tragic accident I pray for the operator’s life. Also this operator himself as a 14 yrs experienced in operating bus I do believe that there could be two issues either he could be exhausted for long hours driving or He might have cardiac arrest before this accident occurred. So I do believe that he is not guilty for this accident. However let the thorough investigation continue to find out the real cause of this accident regarding this uncanny incidence in the history MTA. Thank God everybody is survived that’s a total blessing for we New Yorkers.

I hope the worker is okay… my dad is retired MTA every year or so they would do medical exams and stress test and they determined he needed a angiogram and stents, he then retired from 18 years of driving…i hope this driver will recover and be able to retire as well
