The SES is gearing up for another big day in Sydney after carrying out 61 flood rescues overnight. The city’s south-west is now bearing the brunt of the flood emergency, with surging waters threatening homes in Liverpool and Milperra. More than 100mm of rain has fallen in many places along the NSW coast in the last 24 hours, with 35,000 people so far forced to flee their homes.
