Groups across Mississippi rallied Wednesday to support Jackson in beating the sweltering August heat amid the city’s ongoing water crisis, and the federal government is also lending a big hand.

Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba said at an afternoon news briefing that he had received a pledge of support from President Joe Biden, who the previous night approved Mississippi’s emergency declaration, freeing federal resources to bolster the state’s response.

I made comments before and I will make a comment again about CO2 and climate change climate always changes it's like a rhetorical statement it's a dumb way to describe weather extreme weather events but let's talk about CO2 it's not the reason for these extreme weather events this actually too little to CO2 and the atmosphere since we've cut back with good cars low emission cars and catalytic converters the bottom line is the s u n rules the situations through UV radiation coming into the atmosphere and the ozone and ionosphere and the magnetosphere from solar flares can't hold back everything that in the solar flares distribute the sun is in its 25th cycle and that maximum over 200 sunspots and explosions as a recorded by NASA since 275 years ago it's an extreme geomagnetic event that's largely what's doing the changing of the polar ice caps melting quickly raising the ocean waters and thus putting down more rain and then the opposite extra heating everybody needs to do the math extra CO2 would not cause these events proof of this is that Mars is very dry Dusty Planet that's lost most of its atmosphere and there's Point there's 95% CO2 there and there's no rain
