That is not enough to live on !!! Wages right now should be 20 to 23 dollars an hour not no 15 to 16. Those 15 to 16 wages were suppose to be for in place back in lates 90's to early 2000's but california voted against the wages back then and wages stay at 7 to 10 an hrs.

Imagine thinking you deserve 16 bux an hour to make fries or stock shelves at WalMart…

  22. Tony Delgado says:

Just like to add that any raise helps, but the problem that we have been having or dealing with since I started working back in the late 80's is that it takes almost ten yrs to have the government raise minimum wage increase by 50 cents if a dollar, & from the moment that happens they decide as well to raise everything else, Rent, gas, groceries, leaving everyone else back again to square one, I truly believe that if it takes them 10yrs to raise minimum wage, they shouldn't raise everything as well for a ten year period so that way people could enjoy some how a minimum check an be able to afford, rent, groceries, get point 👉

  23. Tony Delgado says:

Moreover gasoline ⛽️ is one perfect example not to long ago we were paying close to $3.00 a gallon an in a mater of days the gallon guadrupo now paying $7.00 to almost $8.00 per gallon, an all we hear is nothing more then excuses, about why is being raise so fast, Russia this & Russia that, shortest, excuses after another, but very quick to raise things putting an leaving the majority of poor income people in a poverty and homeless situation, there is no way in hell here in California that anyone making minimum wage pay a 1 bedroom or a studio if getting pay minimum wage that is That is definitely pathetic and then they ask why are we dealing with all the homeless situations here in California.

  24. dan ven says:

You don't make a living wage by flipping burgers. There's already been a number of restaurants that I frequented that are now closed permanently and everyone is unemployed. The $15 minimum wage was the nail in the coffin Great plan, but I guess it feels good.

  25. Jonathan Colobong says:

  26. Hermengild says:

  27. Lp says:

And that extra dollar you won't even see it on your paycheck. They'll just find another way of getting it back.

  28. Lp says:

You won't see that extra dollar at all on your paycheck. They'll just find another way of taking it back…. And if you don't get 40 hours a week you really won't see it. Sorry to disappoint but, it's just the truth and everyone knows it.

Small businesses going to reduce employees or hours. $16.04 is not enough for the high cost of living in California. In order to live comfortably someone gotta make news anchor money.

Acquiring wealth and more money has made me realize now that stocks and share's are still the most lucrative businesses in the world today, bonds, real estate, stocks and cryptocurrency are really changing people's lives for better after duly guidance in the risk margin rounded circle the financial market.

  43. 808 JuJu says:

How come cali can increase minimum wage every year or so, yet PA has been stuck at $7.25 for the past 13 years even though gas here is $6.39 and we are getting taxed 6.5% a year?

  44. bea flor says:

The guy says that small businesses will be harder for them cuz of the increase of minimum wage doesn't hurt them all they do is raise the prices on everything that's what most of the businesses do so they don't lose nothing so we should get increase 18 an hour

  45. tony p says:

Wages aren't keeping up with inflation. Report on that!

  46. May Ren says:

Minimum wage, ITS IN THE NAME if it is NOT liveable then stay in school (or go back) and get an education. Why should people who work at McDonald's get same pay as some of us who got an education. It's horrible to see everything is going up because people who get minimum wage want more money. The same people who get min wage are getting benefits and help left and right.
