A Kalamazoo Central High School football player jumped on top of his opponent on the tail end of play during a game against Lakeshore High School on Thursday. The mother of the 15-year-old player told an area Michigan TV station that her son suffered two spinal fractures.

“Our schools can provide additional details as they resolve to achieve this, since they’re handling things internally.”
