The National Water Commission of Mexico has formally declared a state of emergency due to a worsening drought as officials begin to clamp down on usage. NBC News’ Erin McLaughlin reports on how residents are only allowed to use water for three hours a day, a desperate move in the midst of extreme heat.

To answer the news ancors question why the west half of the U.S is having drought issues more then the east is because all of those areas was part of Mexico and you can find deserts and heat problems that have always been there. Los Angeles and most of California should not even exist as cities or even have palm trees because more then have of California once was a desert.
All there water went to Arizona and new Mexico quit lying to us
