Sooner or later after the Giants failed to succeed in a long-term cope with star running back Saquon Barkley, the fallout was discussed on FS1’s “Speak,” with former Eagles running back LeSean McCoy assessing Jones’ value.
When asked by NFL alum Emmanuel Acho if he would like to speculate in a six-figure Bentley or a house around the identical cost that may “appreciate over time” — with the Giants’ $160 million quarterback representing the home — McCoy selected option two, making it clear, nevertheless, that Jones is not any dream abode.

Prior to Monday’s deadline, though, Barkley expressed in a July 11 podcast recording how he wished to get a deal done.
“My leverage is I could say, ‘F–k you’ to the Giants, I could say, ‘F–k you to my teammates,’” the previous first-round pick said on an episode of “The Money Matters” podcast.
“And be like, ‘You would like me to indicate you my price? You would like me to indicate you ways invaluable I’m to the team? I won’t show up. I won’t play a down.’ And that’s a play I could use.’”
The parties finished lower than $2 million apart, sources told The Post.
The Giants and Barkley cannot resume talks of an extension until after the 2023 season.
The second overall pick within the 2018 NFL Draft, Barkley rushed for greater than 1,300 yards his first yr within the league, a feat he achieved this past season.
