From past ruto had been making promises.unfortunately none has been met.If any show…..there are so many video clips showing ruto promising but none showing any achievements.therefore we can truly infer that all are empty promises to get pple votes.after that Kenya will sink

Elites living in the "Ivory towers" professors of politics.. out of touch with reality of Wanjiku..also analog in terms if solutions.. Insanity is doing the same thing and expect different results .. KK is thinking out of the box with charters informed by the people.. digital Azimio chief in manifesto address stated that they will set priorities same old story ..analog

250 billion for 5 yrs in agriculture seems not enough. In the last regimes alot of money has been allocated, but remains in ministry.

Ok. All these proposals but the question people are not asking how are you going to fund these manifestos. That is where the rubber meets the road. A manifesto without letting us know how you are going to fund it is useless. Where are you going to get the money. I want a proposal and a funding mechanism besides it. The only way to get money from a broke govt is cut govt expenditure meaning you have to cut budgetry allocations to fund this manifesto. And then the question begs which ministry is going to get cut from funding and how will you replace that cut that was being funded.

The biggest waste and corruption is the national assembly both senate and house and govt departments. Travel and Procurements for supplies and services that are inflated 1000%

One place to start is cut govt travel for both polticians and govt officials from national govt and county govts. Secondly sitting allowances should be done away with because Mps and all govt officials get paid a salary for sitting. Third, Audit all travel mileage claims by Mps. This is another big loop hole where Mps and senators claim to have travelled and get paid travel allowance and find out they did not even travel.

Loss making parastatals need to be sold or privatized like 20yrs ago. The govt spend 200b to fund loss making parastatals.

Magafuli stopped all foreign travel by polticians and govt officials and the govt saved 400million dollars (not shillings) in the first financial year. In Kenya travel expenses could even double of that of TZ. According to the auditor report the govt since 2013 pays out 1billion shillings a month for travel per diems. Also according to auditor general report county govts spent 12b during covid on travel alone a period when travel was restricted. But no one even the media mentions this. Even civil society have gone to sleep. Travel and procurments in govt is where i would start and funnel that money to free secondary education and school meal programs. Thats real money in peoples pockets and ready market for farmers who will provide their produce to schools.

If Kenya keep building real estates in the most fertile land and expecting food is just bonkers, Kenya is not Uganda or Tanzanian.
It has mostly Semi arid, arid and the Savannah.
Nothing against building for the growing and improvement to the lower income, better planning on cities is involving all.

  25. Adrian Ochieno says:

For once Ambrose Weda has been spot on the point. He is usually very hypocritical and one sided. Today he is very factual. I like his critical analysis on Ruto's ambiguous and hyped Manifesto. Weda, you are my HERO of the week!!!
