After making a franchise-altering trade with the Raptors last 12 months, the Knicks could possibly be looking toward Toronto again for frontcourt help ahead of next week’s NBA trade deadline.
The Knicks have expressed interest in Raptors forward Chris Boucher, The Post’s Stefan Bondy reported in his Contained in the Knicks newsletter for Post Sports+.
The 32-year-old is averaging 10.7 points and 4.4 rebounds in 17.5 minutes per game this season while shooting 50.5 percent from the sphere and 37 percent from 3-point range.

Boucher is in his seventh season with the Raptors and was teammates with OG Anunoby for parts of six seasons. He was a part of the championship-winning 2018-19 team.
The large man previously told Bondy that he and Anunoby were “best friends” and addressed his former teammate’s quiet demeanor.
“That’s what you guys are going to get on a regular basis [from Anunoby being quiet]. Don’t be surprised,” Boucher said. “It’s just his personality. That’s how he became my best friend, to be honest with you. At first I used to be like, ‘Man, why is he like that?’ And when I noticed that’s really who he’s, I used to be like, ‘Well, you could possibly at all times work with people like that, individuals who stay to themselves no matter what happens.’ ”
Boucher is on an expiring $10.81 million contract.

The Knicks acquired Anunoby and Precious Achiuwa in December 2023 in a large trade with the Raptors, sending their former No. 3 overall pick, RJ Barrett, and rising guard Immanuel Quickley to Toronto.
Anunoby, a defensive stalwart who’s averaging 16.3 points per game this season, re-signed with the Knicks in free agency on a team-record five-year, $212.5 million contract.
