So Liz Truss will be Britain’s next prime minister — the nation’s fourth in seven years. And she’s inheriting a nation falling apart at the seams.
Ms. Truss’s victory on Monday followed a long summer of overlapping and escalating crises in the country: Inflation soared to double-digit figures and continues to rise; nationwide strikes have crippled the train networks, the postal service and trash collections; a heat wave brought the first drought in 20 years; and Brexit and the pandemic conspired to ruin many families’ first overseas vacations in three years.
We turned once again to the fictional broadcast journalist Jonathan Pie, performed by Tom Walker. In the satirical Opinion video above, he takes viewers on a tour of a broken Britain and argues that Ms. Truss is not well equipped to fix it.
The video contains some strong language and adult humor you don’t normally see in The Times, but we think Mr. Pie is the perfect conduit for the frustration and desperation of millions of Britons.

One of the first Jonathan Pie videos I haven't even smirked at. This is not satire, it is reality, Liz Truss is in the deep end without the ability to swim; a puppet controlled by those who do not have any interest in supporting those who are struggling, instead dishing out profits to the very wealthy. Boris wasn't perfect, but we can never expect perfection from anyone. But Liz Truss makes him look almost angelic, she is without exaggeration a soulless pig.

My UK energy supplier tells me that 100% of my electricity comes from renewables but my tariffs are still going up. Funny thing is I don't remember the price of wind or sunshine going up in price.
the US isn’t much better. Pay for health insurance and hope you don’t get sick because you might lose your insurance or end up paying through the nose anyway because it’s not a covered medication or procedure. Employers call us independent contractors so they can sack us in an instant. Our Infrastructure is approaching 100 years old, if not over already. The biggest difference is in the US we’ve got problems with tribalism in politics.

Liz truss first actions to stop applying meaningful tax to all.wealthy companies.akd very wealthy private individuals whommmake money by not paying taxes but living amongst tax payers to reduce their risk of dieing. So she by this evidence has acted r via the above treasonabky. She has or is a criminal by the evidence above . Treason is to bring the country into such compromise the corrections are impossible . I say this is the evidence and the actions of taxation she hides behind is evidence again of her treason she may take advice but s a bank of England I would not inpower her guidance . Taxation to apply with or with out the government consent . They can look at writings on a walk as far as the army can advice but she is not our or the nation's interest.
