“Jeopardy!” champ James Holzhauer had some alternative words for current host and former champ Ken Jennings.
Holzhauer, who won the sport show an astonishing 32 times, re-shared a Jennings post on X, the social media platform formerly often called Twitter.
Within the 30-second video teaser the 49-year-old host shared a trailer teaser for the upcoming celebrity tournament.
“27 celebrities will face off for a shot at winning $1,000,000 for charity,” Jennings wrote. “#CelebrityJeopardy! premieres Wednesday September 27 8/7c on ABC and Stream on Hulu.”
Through the video, Jennings also alluded that while the celebrity contestants were fighting for the charities, “loads more is on the road,” as the celebs could also be fighting for bragging rights and pride.
Despite the drama-filled one liner, Holzhauer was seemingly unimpressed. “Cool teaser, but where are the celebrities?” he captioned his post.
Many fans shared Holzhauer sentiments regarding the announcement which they viewed to be equally lackluster.
“I do know Sherri Shepherd,” one fan said. “That’s it.”
Within the comments section, fans agreed with the Jeopardy! Masters winner in regards to the lack of star names.
One fan said: “I do know Sherri Shepherd. That’s it.”
One other fan added: “I recognize five of the names listed, especially Christopher Meloni from Law & Order: Organized Crime. And I mostly know Steven Weber from Wings within the Nineteen Nineties.”
ABC announced a few of the stars set to compete on season two.
Along with Shepard, fans can sit up for watching “Abbott Elementary” actress, Lisa Ann Walter, “Law & Order: Organized Crime” leading man Christopher Meloni, Mark Duplass (“The Morning Show”), Dulé Hill (“The Wonder Years), Mira Sorvino (Oscar winner for Mighty Aphrodite), Timothy Simons (Veep), Utkarsh Ambudkar (Ghosts), Steven Weber (Chicago Med), Emily Hampshire (Schitt’s Creek), and Katie Nolan (Speed Round).
