Instead of demolishing they could have instructed all corrupt politicians to live there.
I agree with your point but the officials might have taken enough precautions to keep all the society members far from this blast zone and let those apartments around vacant too as well. The way the demolition has taken place, I am amused by the work they have done in such a controlled manner. Hats off to all of them to keep all the people around safe and sound.

I was thinking a couple of helicopters raining water over that small spot would have been good, taking that dust straight to the ground where it belongs and not travelling through the air.
While I applaud our supreme court for taking a firm stand on this issue, the actual demolition is a poor job by officials, the dust waves should be sprayed with water to prevent them from traveling miles affecting the entire city.
If I were living anywhere within 150 meter radius of these 2 buildings, then I would have packed my important belongings and moved away but still watch. You never know….

Instead of destroying these, government should have taken it under their control, or judiciary should have asked the constructors to give out these flats at a very cheap fixed rate.
Punishment should have been service to the people, good for both. I know this is an illegal structure, but it's been made, multiple crores of money has been spent, I think that could have been used better. Constructors MUST be punished but destroying these buildings also destroyed the probable home structures 🙁
Though now it's destroyed, it will be an example for any further illegal constructions !

In my opinion they should have taken it down step by step with construction cranes and such. Too much dust and micro particles on all those buildings and guess what – in many lungs now. Also there was a high risk of destroying surrounding buildings.

if regulations were violated, the question is WHY ??? No monitoring? Why the authorities haven checked or performed inspection during the building stages and only acted after complaints and decisions by the court!! Who is responsible??
Wow, they came straight down like the Twin Towers in New York. Those explosions that occurred on each floor…happened exactly the same way on Twin Towers. Just saying and just curious. I'm very confused. Why would the Twin Towers in New York have explosions just like the Noida Supertech Twin Towers….and fall straight down just like those in India.
