Jeniffer Castro, 29, was on board a GOL Airlines domestic flight in Brazil on Dec. 4 when she encountered the teenager in her assigned window seat.
The toddler purportedly desired to look out the window, but Castro, 29, ordered him out and claimed her spot.
Nonetheless, the teenager’s irate mother took out her phone and commenced filming Castro before posting it online.
“I’m recording your face, that is disgusting,” the mom raged. “It’s the twenty first century and other people don’t have any empathy for kids.”
On Thursday, in an episode of the Cola Mais Podcast, Castro revealed that she’s considering taking legal motion after the video went viral.
“Measures at the moment are being taken,” she said. “What I went through wasn’t easy. The flight attendants could have asked me if I want anything, or if I used to be bothered by the passenger, but they didn’t. They stayed out of it.”
She explained that when she got on the plane, the toddler was already in her seat.
“I said, ‘That is my seat,’ and waited for him to depart,” she shared. “A man across the aisle said ‘Change with him, you sit next to the aisle and he’ll have your home.’”
Castro refused.
“The boy cried your entire flight, it was around 50 minutes from Rio de Janeiro to Belo Horizonte,” Castro added. “The mother was very rude.”
