People sure are clucking about this one.
A wacky Las Vegas “supermarket” has gone viral for its variety of strange merchandise, including seemingly tattooed poultry and special toothpaste presupposed to be for many who lift weights.
Facundo Hernandez, known on TikTok as @argentiniankingg, shared a video of himself wandering around Omega Mart, situated in Sin City’s Area15 complex.
“The weirdest supermarket on the planet,” reads the roughly translated Spanish-language caption of the video that, as of Monday, had topped 575,000 views.
Within the minutelong clip, viewers can spot what Hernandez calls “tattooed” chicken lying on top of platter garnished with lettuce, in addition to a gray-white “snake” that resembles sausage of some kind within the wildly lit store.
Hernandez later shows an indication out there that claims: “Hurry hurry hurry time is unlimited.”
“You’ve gotten no idea what’s in-store for you!” exclaims one other.
The video moves on to a “ridiculous inflatable swan-thing” used as a pool flotation device and priced at a whopping $55.
It’s quickly followed by a clip of the TikToker holding up a blue toothpaste geared toward weightlifters, in addition to a bottle of Carlos Medina Blue Chile.
Hernandez also reveals that the shop is plagued with optical illusions, comparable to refrigerator doors that truly result in corridors and other parts of the shop.
Several TikTok users went wild over the crazy shop.
“That supermarket alters the laws of physics,” commented one user.
“It’s like a dream. Surreal and meaningless,” said a second person.
One person joked that the mart “looks like an episode of the Simpsons.”
“Very funny supermarket but no person will buy anything,” joked a fourth person.
Sadly, it was revealed that Omega Mart isn’t actually an actual food market.
All the operation is actually an interactive art installation created by arts and entertainment company Meow Wolf.
According to the location, the installation is “a possible entryway into recent worlds and artful revelations, while breathtaking installations from local and international artists offer enchanting spaces to wander.”
Based in Santa Fe, Recent Mexico, Meow Wolf began its operations in 2008 after a gaggle of artists got along with a shared desire to display their artwork for the general public to devour.
The group has art installations in California, Nevada, Texas and Colorado.
