The attack on Iraq parliament building in Baghdad by hundreds of Iraqi protestors is just one of a myriad of examples of what is meant by the "sea" at Isaiah 17:12 in the Bible, that says: "Listen ! There is a commotion of many peoples (who are always agitated, restless, creating trouble), who are as boisterous as the seas (or never calm) ! There is an uproar of nations, whose sound is like the roar of mighty waters ! (chanting their political slogans, their "curses" against others)".
At Isaiah 57, it adds this: "But the wicked are like the restless sea that cannot calm down, and its waters keep tossing up seaweed and mire. There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”(Isa 57:20, 21) The "wicked" are never satisfied with the status quo of politics, for this group or political party is always angry, agitated, "teed-off " against another group or political party, so that the world of politics is a constant source of anger, agitation, complaining, protesting, like the "sea" that 'keep tossing up seaweed and mire".
Only one government is totally united, a heavenly government called God's Kingdom (Matt 6:10), and it is the means by which all political governments will be "crushed" out of existence (Dan 2:44, 45), and then take full control of the earth, transforming it into a paradise for "meek" ones to enjoy forever.(Ps 37:11, 29; Matt 5:5)
It's funny, in other countries it's a protest to break into a government building. But in America, it's an insurrection.

Comparisons to January 6th are undeniable, but this protest is much more intrusive. I wonder if the Iraqi government will turn upside down, accuse the thousands of them of insurrection, unjustly jail some and definitely in cruel isolation, and have endless Court hearings one and a half years afterwards. Somehow I don't think Iraq government will have the corruption and theatrics needed to do that
