As the global energy crisis continues, gas prices in Europe jumped to more than 10 times their normal level. At the same time, investors appear to be the most pessimistic about the economy of Germany – the “engine of Europe” – since the eurozone debt crisis a decade ago. How are European countries coping with record-breaking inflation and recession fears both individually and as a bloc? And what implications does the EU’s economic distress have for the rest of the world?

So, Europe still denies they are the one's who sanctioned Russia first because Russia is defending itself from NATO sponsored militaristic terrorism against Russia, which NATO feels is crazy and unreasonable. Most of the world knows the truth, no matter how many times the lies are stated. Continuing to be a proxy in the US's war with Russia and China to maintain global hegemony is going to be very costly.

Tell the truth — Putin is guilty of invasion but he did not start the energy sanctions economic warfare. Even after NATO seized (stole) hundreds of billions of Russia's reserves Putin kept the gas flowing…. NATO had the brilliant strategy of interfering with Russia's 3rd party trade plus, breaking faith on Nordstream 2 blocking it from operation …. without a plan for replacing Russian natural gas….

Ironic — they unilaterally refused to allow gas to flow through a new pipeline and months later they are whining about not enough Russian gas coming through the old pipeline.

    Seriously??

Europe is dealing with inflation without protests and citizens refusing to pay mortgages. It's probably worth the CCP focusing on the economic crisis in China instead of this distraction. There is a banking crisis, mortgage crisis, debt crisis and real estate crisis in China and this is what you report on. 😆 🤣 😂

Like a slow boiled frog, Europe like to think this is still OK and they can weather it all.

At this point in Europe, it is not inflation and recession yet, it is price gouging and robbery.

If Europe keep going down this path, in 2 years, they will have hyper inflation and recession.

Europe is doing this to themselves.

It all boils down to EU having NO GUTS to confront her master . Letting the evil empire detakes all decisions ,putting herself into this "freedom n democracy " and the fellacy that communism is taking over the world BS. Haven't they seen, all these communist countries haven't EVEN convert any countries since the collapse of the UsSR. ! EU is a victim of blind faith. I know Italy economy is very unstable but if China can survive till the end of this year that would be ok. If not, China could be next. The manufacturing sectors are not doing that good and if the housing market collapse in China that would lead to economy meltdown.

Countries who provide weapons used in a war against your country are not a high priority to Putin. I am sure his troops are happy to see genuine enemies of theirs facing their own difficulties. This whole fiasco started with sanctions and seizures of Russian property. They did it to themselves. Looks like it didn't work out like they planned.

That's great if the Euros are building facilities to buy their gas from the US. We are also selling tons of weapons, so can cash in on the Ukraine war in more than one way.

"We will crush you with our mighty sanctions and isolate you!"

    Russia:
"Let me help you, I will shut the oil and gas supply, that way I won't receive any more of your money."

EU: **in a whiny childish voice**
"Stop it! You are being mean. You are hurting our economies by 'weaponizing' oil and gas, you evil country. Why can't you just stand there like a punching bag and let me hit you? Don't you know we're morally superior than you?"

US: "fear not EU! We can supply you with way less oil and gas for three to four times the cost as Russia (at full market price, of course cause subsidies are for pinko communists…).

European leaders have so much faith in US and adhere to imposition of sanctions on Russia. These leaders are now in quandary as how to cope with high inflation and hardships of their citizens. They were completely misled by US and are being hurt by the boomerang effects. Their political careers are jeopardized. Two of the leaders had been taken out of political stage. They have played into the hands of US which benefits from the war and has made EU more depent to US economically and politically

The West thought that we Asians are stupid, we provide whatever the West wants by paying the Asians dirt cheap with their printed fiat currencies & useless treasury bonds. It’s a pity that Japan, South Korea & Taiwan are unable to get out of that sinking hole that has been dugout by US for them.

8:27. Employment figures for US and EU are fake because during the covid pandemic 80% of the work force quit work in the Great Resignation….and now companies are trying to hire these worker back but many just decided to stay home. So it’s not real employment but re employment for previous positions.

Ironical that Europeans should label Russian energy retaliation as “blackmail “! What does one called Europe’s comprehensive sanctions against Russians, including R music, cats, dogs!

  32. Eddie Will says:

Prof Bagg. Russia is blackmailing Germany.
Seriously, as Germany has joined the West in sanctioning Russia.
Sanctions is economic warefare with the intent of forcing compliance and the destruction of the targeted countries economy. Again the opinion of an individual from the greatest Colonial empire ever. The arrogance remains astounding.

China needs to call into question the ability of these countries to pay back their debts. Just as the US keep printing stories of China's housing crisis and banking problems, China should do the same. The reason the US is doing this is because they want to cast doubt on China financial stability. The US always plant stories for months before they act on their plans.

I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks (with the help of my Financial Advisor of course) and made about 246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million.

Western Europe as nothing more than the object without any own interests with the Westblock is not only politically and economically in a big crisis which has not even really started…but also in all other spheres…from science to culture….it is
