“John Wick: Chapter 4” took out the box office on its opening night.
The fourth installment of the Keanu Reeves-led franchise — a few hitman forced out of retirement — raked in $29.4 million on Friday, in line with IMDB’s Box Office Mojo.
The Post praised the “assassin’s unrelenting brutality” as “a lovely sight to behold.”
The thriller is predicted to enjoy a $70 million-plus opening weekend, the most effective in the whole franchise, in line with Collider.
“Scream VI” remained in second place, with a $2.46 million take.
This was the costliest film within the slasher series to supply, with a budget of $35 million, in line with Screenrant.
The superhero sequel “Shazam! Fury of the Gods,” which was within the primary spot last week, fell to 3rd with $2.35 million in sales.
The sci-fi flick “65” remained in fourth, earning $855,000.
“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” stayed in fifth, taking home $609,000.
