For your person, that means put a broad brimmed hat on, for an area, that means planting trees to provide shade. Coming from Australia, I'm pretty shocked seeing those people talking about the heat with no hats on! Here it's even part of the required uniform for anyone that works outdoors, from police to life guards, if you're outside during the day as part of your job, OH&S requires you wear a broad brimmed hat & councils plant street trees up & down almost every street in every city so as to provide as much shade as possible for everyone & every animal too
