Listen, to get to work and not having a car, every morning at 4:00 a.m. I had to leave out my apartment and walk to work. All the guys leaving bars or clubs or just out looking for trouble was all out around that time. The thing is when I was going to work the most dangerous person on the street at that time was me because I had everything on me and at reach. Your biggest fear in this world should always be a… POINT-A to POINT-B kidnapping. My worse fear is being in somebody else complete control of Mercy or Cruelty. Every woman should have a pocketknife in her back pocket when she goes out. To attack or cut hand restraints. Then you have something called time and space. Somebody moving close to you…you have to notice {Time} put your pocketknife in your hand and open it when the person is coming at you no matter how you are moving. You move left, he moves left, you move right, he moves right. A person has to get close to you to attack you and that's your tell sign. { Space } Play it out in your mind a thousand times so your body don't freeze.

The technology is only as good as the People using it. Good Officers result in better results. Complacent or apathetic Officers does not matter what tech they have in their hands. An Overhaul in Training Officers on the Specific Technology needs to be a Top Priority then the Money allocated to the Communities that can benefit from this.

Detroit Spot shooter needs to be placed all over Detroit. I've lived in a State where, after being installed, proved to be an invaluable piece of equipment. I vote YES!

No amount of technology is gonna change the propensity for violence that's pervasive through out American society today.

** Problem is – criminals are not HARSHLY punished. You can have all of these fancy systems, but when people serve little jail time when being convicted of a crime – there is no deterrence. Jail criminals and give extremely HARSH punishment & make criminals serve all of their jail time & make jail EXTREMELY unpleasant.

Unless the people take back their streets, no tech in the world will make a difference.

We use to have 4,000+ police officers in 2000. Now we have 2,200 police officers and the technology they installed doesn't work. Put the police officers back on the job then you have more people paying taxes. Who's pockets are they lining with the technology. Community policing works better!!! Dan Gilbert with his cameras downtown hasn't lowered crime.
