Google, Apple, Facebook have been sued each year for tax fraud in Europe. That is the normal thing: tech companies go the extra miles to avoid taxes, it's not a China thing, not everything is about China vs India.

I have tears in my eyes as I see this video…. My country has done soo much for me. My grandparents seen the end of British Rule, lived through the famine, had their lives torn during the partition and just 2 generations later my family has seen Doctors, Teachers, Engineers, Successful Business Owners…. it is all thanks to this great Nation to whom my head shall bow each day in respect till it can bow no more. Bharat Mata Ki Jai. Happy Independence Day to all my Indian Sisters and Brother.

We the Indians are being deprived of the cheap Chinese products while we are buying cheap Russian oil (although the cheapness is not reflected in the retail market). Russians are buying the cheap Chinese phones with the money they earn by selling us their oil. So, in turn, it is our money with which the Russians are buying cheap phones while we are bound to buy the costlier ones.

We shouldn't buy Chinese products. It's not only duty of the Government but we should take part in boycotting Chinese products.

I live in America and I stumbled across this channel recently, and I’m increasingly loving the No-BS nature of it and the subtle but effective jabs they throw in here & there – “It’s tagline is aim for perfection. It’s accused of aiming for tax evasion” 😂

As a mobile phone user since 1998, I have never used a Chinese phone ever, will never ever do so either. Why go for Chinese low quality phones when Nokia is available as made in India and priced competitively too

You are right Palki , India has a long way to go in terms of infrastructure, technology to catch up with China hence improve balance of trade between the two countries.

Indian brands were not phone brands but mere phone assembly brands, they had no innovation/R&D/software support… I wish one day there's an Indian brand like samsung. On the forefront of cutting edge technology.

While Chinese brands make good phones, their operations are shady and they cannot be trusted with user data.

Almost every private company (foreign or domestic) tries to avoid tax in India. Vodafone also did the same; used a loophole in the Indian rule to evade the tax. Private companies will always try to maximize their profit anyway… if they find some loophole they will use that to maximize their profit. It is the government that is responsible to check that situation. However, our govt is corrupt… they intentionally keep some loopholes in law such that they can use that loophole.

I was actually criticised harshly for pointing out India’s decoupling from China. Told I failed some kind of “performance appraisal” for believing in “anecdotal evidence”. What do you think?
