CLIMATE CHANGE. CLIMATE CHANGE. CLIMATE CHANGE.

There I said it, because so much of the major corporate media dare not use these key words so as to not upset their fossil fuel advertising partners.

Climate Division Temperature Percentile Rankings for June-July 1952

Climate Division Temperature Percentile Rankings: June-July 1952

The summer of 1952 was (at the time) the hottest summer ever recorded across the eastern half of the United States. Well above-normal temperatures during most of June became exceptionally hot for the last week of the month as surface high pressure developed across Florida and upper level high pressure centered itself overhead. All-time high temperatures were recorded in a number of locations including Wilmington, NC where the temperature hit 104 degrees on June 27th, 1952, a record that still stands today. New Bern, NC reached 106 degrees on July 22, 1952, setting not just their all-time record high temperature but also their all-time highest daily average temperature of 93.5 degrees. (The morning low was a sticky 81 degrees)

High temperatures were only in the 80s and lower 90s for the first half of July, but the heat wave came roaring back on July 18th. In Florence and Columbia, SC 100+ degree temperatures occurred on 8 out of 11 days from July 20th through July 30th. New Bern, NC recorded its all-time record high temperature of 106 on July 22th, and Hickory, NC set its all-time record high of 105 on July 29th. At least six deaths were blamed on the heat, and agricultural losses to the tobacco crop in North Carolina alone may have approached $10 million. The impact this heat wave had on the people living here is magnified by the fact that very few homes had air conditioning in 1952.

Other all-time record highs established during this event include 103 in Southport, NC; 104 in Winston-Salem, NC; 106 in Marion, NC; 108 in Cheraw, SC; and 109 in Bamberg, SC. Charlotte, NC's morning low of 79 degrees on June 27th is still the warmest low temperature on record for the Queen City.

    These factors—the , the yet-to-cool
Atlantic, and the historical reduction in recent solar activity—suggest
that a staggered cooling period could continue. Absent from most
headlines about global warming is a discussion of measures suggesting
that the warming has ceased and a cooling may have begun. For example,
deep-ocean heat content has not increased during the past five years.
Looking at just one year, from January 2007 to January 2008, we find
that satellite-derived atmospheric temperatures indicate that Earth was
about one degree Fahrenheit cooler at the beginning of 2008 than it was
at the beginning of 2007. The United Kingdom’s Hadley Centre ocean and
land temperature records show cooling in the last seven to ten years.

Imagine if we took the land currently used for livestock and feed, which is now contributing to climate change, and instead reforested it and revitalized the degraded soil. In doing so, we would limit all the pollution related to livestock production, including the groundwater pollution created by the two billion tons of feces produced by livestock every year and the fossil fuel–based fertilizers used to grow feed for livestock, both of which are creating dead zones globally.115 We would also create one of the world’s largest carbon sinks. The potential benefits of such changes are truly monumental, and here’s the clincher—we would be healthier as a result. What is good for the planet is good for us.
Stop eating Meats. They are proven scientifically to be unhealthy for you.
Besides… You will be vastly contributing in reducing the biggest threat to our global climate… namely the MEAT INDUSTRY!!

She is beautiful but heat is not because of Ukraine Russia's war resulted to heat waves this year so stop the war and never think of war because if so we can not be able to live on earth any more due to heat from case envelope of atmospheric temperature .

  16. R Smith says:

Over the past two centuries, the United States has released huge amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere from fossil fuel combustion, making it the biggest carbon polluter in history. As of 2020, the U.S. had emitted almost 420 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide (GtCO2) since the industrial revolution – far more than any other country.

There is no such thing as a climate "activist" nor "alarmist." They are all climate TERRORISTS. A small group of climate terrorists are driving the economy and evolution of society. The earth’s climate has been CONTINUALLY changing for about 4.5 billion years. You have climate terrorists in government and on media stating ridiculous prognostications. They are pretty much at the point of terrorism where they state claims along the lines of “Little Johnny, if your daddy drives you to school your house will be under water due to sea levels rising by the time you are in high school and you will DIE” to a 5-year old in effort to indoctrinate them into their cult. Pathetic and dangerous.

WORLD DID NOT GO OUT OF THE HOUSES DURING COVID.

"Different sources of CO2 were affected in different ways throughout the year. Aviation was down by a staggering 70% during the April low. Overall, emissions from the sector fell by 45% in 2020, the equivalent of taking 100 million cars off the road. Car, bus and motorcycle transportation accounted for 50% of the year’s total drop in CO2 emissions. Demand for oil fell by 8.6% in 2020. Demand for coal was down by 4%.

Geography mattered, too. China, the world’s largest emitter of greenhouse gasses and the first country hit by the pandemic, went into lockdown in February, resulting in its CO2 output falling by 12% compared to the same month a year prior. The country’s swift action and strict quarantine rules allowed it to begin returning to something closer to normal by April, when CO2 emissions in the country rose above 2019 levels. China finished 2020 with overall CO2 output 5% higher than it was in 2019.-19 YEARS! SO WHAT WAS THE IMPACT; DID WORLD LOCKDOWN HAVE ON CO2? TEMPORARY! IT WENT UP AFTER THE END OF LOCKDOWNS. ANSWER OR SOLUTION LOCKDOWNS THE PLANET FOREVER!

The current worldwide heat waves were caused by the Tonga event.. The Tonga Volcanic Eruption ejected 146,000 metric tons of salt water into the Stratosphere. There is very little water in the Stratosphere but the Tonga Eruption increase the water in the Stratosphere by 10%. This caused a greenhouse effect that increased global temperatures. A lot of the effects of climate change are of natural causes. Ice core samples have proven that the earth has had a long history of global cooling and heating, long before humans started the industrial revolution. So now we know that volcanoes can have both effects on climate, decreasing and increasing the earths atmospheric temperature.
