TAMPA — As the remaining of his teammates prepare for the season in Florida, Giancarlo Stanton has returned to Latest York for medical testing, The Post confirmed on Monday.
The Yankees slugger, who has yet to take part in baseball activities this spring due to tennis elbow in each arms, has left camp to undergo testing back in Latest York, though it’s uncertain if it is expounded to his elbows.
Stanton had been limited to only performing some light agility drills on a backfield through the early days of camp — and as recently as Friday — but he was not spotted on Sunday. NJ.com first reported Stanton’s return to Latest York.
Asked on Sunday what Stanton was doing, manager Aaron Boone said he was still just going through treatment.

He reiterated that there was “nothing imminent” when it comes to the 35-year-old resuming baseball activities.
The Yankees have been attempting to let Stanton rest and get better from the elbow issues now — even when it means him not being ready for Opening Day — as an alternative of losing him for an extended stretch in the course of the regular season.
They’ve acknowledged, though, that Stanton may have to administer the elbow issues all year long, as he did for much of last season.
