Safety Marcus Maye is headed to South Beach.
Maye, a former member of the Jets and the Saints, signed a take care of the Dolphins on Monday, in keeping with multiple reports.

Maye had “multiple teams interested” in his services but felt the Dolphins are a Super Bowl contender and is claimed to “love” their roster, in keeping with NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
The 31-year-old had been cut by the Saints in March and has been a free agent since, with the Dolphins adding a solid player for his or her secondary.
He was first chosen by the Jets within the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft and spent his first five seasons within the league with Gang Green before he played the last two with the Saints.
Maye tallied six interceptions and five forced fumbles in his five seasons with the team.
He then signed a three-year, $22.5 million contract with Latest Orleans as a free agent in 2022, and the Saints cut him with one 12 months left on his deal to assist with their salary cap situation.
The Saints only saved $1.1 million with the move, per ESPN. Maye had been slated to count $9.6 million against their salary cap.

After playing in 16 games thrice with the Jets, Maye appeared in only 17 games across his two seasons with the Saints, including seven this past season.
He missed the primary three games of this past season after violating the league’s substance abuse policy, stemming from a 2021 DUI arrest.
Maye has began all 77 games that he has played during his profession, recording 409 tackles, eight interceptions, 28 passes defended, five forced fumbles and 4.5 sacks.
The Dolphins also signed former Bills safety Jordan Poyer in an try to fortify their secondary.
