What’s going on with Newark airport? You mostly hear about Newark having all these delay and cancellation issues.

They raise prices on everything during the holidays

I recommend you make your plans local. Request online for a refund. Monitor this situation and once airlines drop prices and let you know they can accommodate you, STILL WAIT 3 months before you decide to travel. That should bring you into January and February of 2023.🙃

Don't travel on the busiest, highest priced weekends and days. People choose to travel at the busiest times and days, when it would cost less and not be as aggravating if you go the weekend after the 4th of July

Should’ve kept mask mandates. Employees are getting sick and aren’t paid enough to deal with your germs

  13. Linda Cassell says:

Been there done that!! Why would people fly more for the event of July 4th? Yeah I get it’s meaning but really? Stop just save your money.

  14. Starrider Kittykat says:

Bull, flights are being cancelled because of trying to force people that work airlines To get vaccinated!!

OMG! What a disaster! Higher expenses for travel and gasoline too! Just not worth it, I would rather stay at home, make homemade bar-b-que ribs, potato salad, watermelon, aloha smoothies, etc. blow fireworks off in our backyard and/or watch them on tv. We are staying home.😊

Oh I see. I get it now. Crystal clear how Al Roker has kept his job @ Today for 40 years! I think he's the only surviving original cast member. I just noticed Al does more than just kiss *ss. He likes to throw colleagues under the bus too while sucking up and winning brownie points with the top brass. Tom Costello made a comment about landing in Orlando, but don't expect to be @ Disney an hour later. Al said he would be @ Universal Studios instead since that is their parent company. 😮🗡️

If airlines are understaffed, maybe they shouldn’t schedule so many flights in the first place.

  29. Me says:

Travel is just not worth it. The arrangements, the actual travel and the destination. High prices, high hassle. Not worth it.

  30. D Nahil says:

Expect utter chaos… The system isn’t up and running, as of yet, and it may take years to truly recover; MIA cockpit crews, flight attendants, ground crew, fuelers, techs, baggage handlers, customer services, TSA… Airline’s are outright irresponsible for scheduling’s flights which cannot be fulfilled. One has to be out of their bloody mind’s not to be able to understand all of this; booking a flight, traveling by air, right now, will likely end up in serious disappointments; cancelations, missed connections, over bookings, tossed… for many, furthering inexcusable US passenger inappropriateness.

Don’t do it. There solved the problem.

If only there was an alternate way of getting around without a plane that is far faster than a car.

If only Murica had high speed mag lev trains. Not only would they be fast, they would carry way more people, more comfortably than a plane, be automatically controlled so no need for driver, and it would stop at a major train station and bus hub that would make it easy for connections to other trains.

It’s better than getting stuck at the airport. What sucks even more is that with no alternative than driving, once Muricans finally get to destination, they have to find a rental car which may not be available and they have to hunt for one.

I have traveled in Japan and I have lugged a 27” luggage and back pack on mass transit with no issues. I wish all Muricans can experience it so they know what is seriously wrong with our mass transit systems.
